Book Signings |

Featured authors will be doing book signings
and talking about their work. There will be
different tables with authors where you can
buy their books, meet the writer, and get
your copy of their book autographed. This is a chance to
meet some of your favorite authors.

Q and A with Authors and Songwriters |
 |
There are different Q and A's with authors. You can
talk with your favorite author; if you’re part of
the media you can get an interview with an author.
As a fan this is your chance to discuss with an
author your favorite books by them. If you like the
book then discuss it with the author.

Book Readings |
|
Authors will do a book reading from their books.
This is your chance to hear a part of your favorite
books from the author themselves. It’s the author’s
words read out loud. You also get a chance another
chance to meet your favorite authors.

Writing Contest |
|
 |
Every
Pub Fest has a writing contest with a cash
prize and an award. Authors can submit a
short story and have people rate it or judge
it online through the Pub Fest online poll.
Pub Fest wouldn’t be complete without a
chance to win the Pub Fest Award and a cash
prize for money.

Poetry Slam |
|
For Poets we have a poetry slam. Poets can
perform there poetry out loud for fans and
all types are welcome. A book festival may
feature novelists, but
poetry is just important and this is why Pub
Fest has a Poetry Slam – we welcome the poet
whose words inspire the masses.

Oral Storytelling from authors |
 |
One of the events that Pub Fest likes to
have is a story told in the oral tradition.
The featured authors at Pub Fest will share
the stage together and tell a story
together. The story will start with one line
and each author will have a few minutes to
tell a part of the story. Another author
will continue where the other left off,
helping to complete the story. The event
will be filmed and showcased online.

Live Music |
|
Pub Fest also features songwriters and as
another form of storytelling we give
songwriters a chance to perform their music.
Music is just another form of writing so Pub
Fest welcomes live music as a part of the
events at the festival. The music of Pub
Fest will be all different types of music
from folk music to country music, from Irish
folk rock to rock n’ roll. There’s nothing
better at a festival than to enjoy great
music on top of good books along with great food and drinks.

Meet Editors |

At
Pub Fest you can also meet editors from
different publishing firms and submit your
manuscript if you are a potential writer.
Pub Fest is the perfect place to meet
representatives from publishing firms and
get information about the industry as well
as feedback on the book that you are ready
to have published. If you're looking
for a publisher then come to Pub Fest and
meet the representatives from those
publishing forms.
